Recommended Action
RECOMMENDATION:
The Downtown Business Improvement District Advisory Board and City staff recommend that the City Council: a) conduct a public hearing; b) adopt Resolution No. 22-0120 authorizing the collection of assessments; c) ratify the nominees for the Fiscal Year (FY) 2022-2023 Downtown Business Improvement District (BID) Advisory Board; d) adopt Resolution No. 22-0121 authorizing the City Manager and BID Advisory Board Chairperson to enter into an agreement with the Downtown Manhattan Beach Business & Professional Association (DMBBPA) to provide services to the Business Improvement District; and e) authorize the disbursement of assessments collected through June 30, 2022, for the FY 2021-2022 licensing year (approximately $110,200).
