RECOMMENDATION:
Receive this report on Leadership Manhattan Beach’s (LMB) proposed 2019-2020 class project in the City of Manhattan Beach.
DISCUSSION:
Leadership Manhattan Beach (LMB) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to develop community leaders. Since 1992, over the course of its nine-month program each class has developed a project that benefits the community.
This year’s LMB class representative, Alec Hoag, will present to City Council an overview of this year’s class project, which focuses on reducing plastic water bottle waste through the installation of water-filling stations at key locations in the City.
