Recommended Action
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends the City Council adopt Resolution 19-0080 (attachment):

1. Awarding a Construction Contract to CT&T Concrete Paving, Inc. for the Citywide Concrete Repair Project for $192,900.00.
2. Authorizing the City Manager to Execute the Agreement.
3. Authorizing the City Manager to Approve Additional Work, if Necessary, for up to $37,100 (19% of the contract).
4. Approving the Plans and Specifications for the Project.

FISCAL IMPLICATIONS:
The Citywide Concrete Repairs Project is in the Fiscal Year 2019-2020 approved Capital Improvement Program. There are sufficient funds available to complete the full bid scope of work for $192,900 and provide for additional unforeseen work, if necessary, for up to $37,100. The Budget and Expenditure Summary is attached.

BACKGROUND:
The Citywide Concrete Repairs Project involves upgrading many of the City's existing damaged ramps to meet existing ADA standards; reconstructing damaged curbs, gutters and cross gutters; and removing and replacing specific deteriorated Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) pavement slabs and driveway approaches at various City locations. The construction contract also includes a unit bid item for repairing damaged sidewalks, which provides residential property owners the option to utilize the City's bid rate for sidewalk repairs.
