Staff recommends the City Council waive further reading and adopt Ordinance No. 18-0020.

There are no fiscal implications associated with the recommended action.
BACKGROUND:
At the September 4, 2018 Council Meeting, the City Council voted unanimously to adopt Urgency Ordinance No. 18-0020-U and introduced Ordinance No. 18-0020 to prohibit camping and storage of personal property in public places. The Ordinances amend the Municipal Code for the purpose of maintain public and private areas within the City in a clean, sanitary, safe and accessible condition. The Ordinances will be another tool the City can use so that public areas can be used for their intended purposes and remain accessible to all residents, businesses and visitors in the City.
