Recommended Action
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that City Council adopt a Resolution (Attachment 1) approving the following:

1. Authorize the City Manager to execute a contract in the amount of $1,489,303.59 with Monet Construction, Inc. for the Pier Utilities and Roundhouse Exterior Improvements Project (Attachment 2);
2. Authorize the City Manager to approve additional work, if necessary, in an amount not-to-exceed $148,930 (10%);
3. Approve the plans and specifications for the Pier Utilities and Roundhouse Exterior Improvements Project (Attachment 3) and;
4. Approve a supplemental appropriation in the amount of $215,000 from the State Pier and Parking Fund, and in the amount of $120,000 from the Water Enterprise Fund.

FISCAL IMPLICATIONS:
This facility project is included in the approved Capital Improvement Program. As part of the approved FY 2017-18 Capital Improvement Plan budget, a total of $1.465 million has been appropriated for this project from the State Pier and Parking Fund ($415,000), as well as Water ($400,000) and Sewer Enterprise Funds ($650,000).
