Recommended Action
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommend that the City Council adopt Ordinance No. 17-0014 amending the Historic Preservation Ordinance to assign the responsibilities of implementation to the Planning Commission and amending the timeline for the Historic Resources Survey and Inventory of Historic Resources.

FISCAL IMPLICATIONS:
This amendment will result in savings in the FY 17/18 budget in the amount of $156,200.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:
At the City Council meeting of August 1, 2017 the City Council held a public hearing and introduced Ordinance No. 17-0014 with no changes. There were no public comments on the amendment.

The City Attorney has approved as to form the Ordinance.
