Consideration of a Resolution Approving Amendment No. 1 to Temporary Information Technology Professional Services Agreement with TEKsystems Government Services in the Amount of $200,000 for an Updated Total of $274,650 (Budgeted) (Information Technology Director Guardado).

RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that the City Council:
a) Approve Resolution No. 26-0086 for Amendment No. 1 to the Temporary Information Technology Professional Services Agreement with TEKsystems Government Services in the amount of $200,000 for an updated total of $274,650 and extend the contract by one year; and
b) Authorize the City Manager to approve and execute the amendment with TEKsystems Government Services.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS:
Sufficient funding for this Amendment No. 1 is available in the Information Technology Department's budget for the fiscal year within the Information Technology Fund. The proposed amended contract will be used on an as-needed basis and funded by the salary savings from the vacant positions (currently three Technology Specialists) and the Information Technology budgeted professional services account. There are no additional fiscal implications at this time.

The Information Technology (IT) Department manages the City's network infrastructure, cloud services, software systems, web services, and audio-visual and broadcast technologies, ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient technology services that support City operations and public service delivery.
