Recommended Action
RECOMMENDATION:
The Downtown Business Improvement District Advisory Board and City staff recommend that the City Council: a) conduct a public hearing; b) adopt Resolution No. 24-0082 authorizing the collection of assessments; c) ratify the nominees for the Fiscal Year (FY) 2024-2025 Downtown Business Improvement District (BID) Advisory Board; d) adopt Resolution No. 24-0083 approving the signed agreement by the City Manager and BID Advisory Board Chairperson for the Downtown Manhattan Beach Business & Professional Association (DMBBPA) to provide services to the Business Improvement District; and e) authorize the disbursement of assessments collected through June 30, 2024, for the FY 2023-2024 licensing year (approximately $121,100).
