BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION:
On June 3, 2014, the Council adopted resolutions calling a special election on term limits and requesting consolidation with the Los Angeles County elections on November 4, 2014. The call for the election on the measure will be done concurrently with the other election resolutions for the March 3, 2015, General Municipal Election, and will be presented to the City Council for consideration at a City Council meeting in September or October 2014.
