Recommended Action
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that the City Council Adopt Resolution No. 26-0075:

1. Awarding a construction agreement to Harris Steel Fence Co., Inc. for the Fence Replacement Project at Marine Ave Park Soccer Field for $96,155.03;

2. Making a Determination of Exemption Pursuant to Section 15301 of the State CEQA Guidelines Section for the Fence Replacement Project at Marine Ave Park Soccer Field;

3. Approving the Plans and Specifications for the Fence Replacement Project at Marine Ave Park Soccer Field;

4. Authorizing the City Manager to execute the Agreement; and

5. Authorizing the City Manager and/or his or her designee to approve additional work, if necessary, for up to $14,424.97

FISCAL IMPLICATIONS:
Sufficient funds of $150,000 are currently available for the Fence Replacement Project at Marine Ave Park Soccer Field within the CIP Fund. A Project Budget and Expenditures Summary is attached.

BACKGROUND:
Marine Avenue Park is located at 1625 Marine Avenue. The park facilities consist of a community center, restrooms, picnic and playground areas, a skate park, and baseball and soccer fields.
