RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends that the Parking and Public Improvements Commission continue the item to its October 22, 2026 meeting.

 

BACKGROUND:

On September 17, 2026, a courtesy notice was published in The Beach Reporter notifying the public of a discussion for this item at the September 24, 2026, PPIC meeting. Staff recommends that the Commission continue the item to the October 22 2026.

 

PUBLIC OUTREACH:
Notice of the continued public hearing will be emailed to all interested parties prior to the October 22, 2026 meeting.

 

ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW:
The proposed activity to continue the public hearing is not a “Project” as defined under Section 15378 of the State California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines; therefore, the activity is not subject to CEQA pursuant to State CEQA Guidelines Section 15060(c)(3).
