RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that the City Council receive and file a presentation on Clean Power Alliance’s Power Ready Program to explore a no-additional-cost solar and battery energy storage system on the City’s Police and Fire Public Safety Building and provide direction regarding participation in the Program.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS:
There are no fiscal implications associated with the recommended action. The program provides CPA member agencies with no-additional-cost solar and battery energy storage opportunities to support critical infrastructure. The City is not obligated to move forward with the Program at this time. If approved, the City is not responsible for any of the project costs.
