Recommended Action
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that City Council revise the previously awarded Professional Engineering Services Agreement with Willdan Engineering to accommodate changes to contract insurance and indemnification language. Additionally, it is recommended that the City Council authorize the City Manager to execute the contract.

FISCAL IMPLICATIONS:
The contract is in an amount not-to-exceed $136,500. Funds for these services have not been appropriated in the Fiscal Year 2012-2013 Public Works budget. However, it is anticipated there will be salary savings from the vacancy of the full-time City Engineer position which will partially off-set the cost.
DISCUSSION:
At its April 16, 2013, regular meeting, the City Council approved an agreement with Willdan for City Engineer services. Willdan requested several changes to the agreement with regard to insurance coverage and indemnification. The City Attorney has approved the requested changes and they are incorporated in the agreement presented for approval herewith.
