Recommended Action
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that City Council:

a) Adopt Resolution No. 23-0033:

1. Awarding a construction agreement to Gentry General Engineering, Inc. for the Citywide Concrete Repairs Cycle 2 Project for $439,475.25; and

2. Authorizing the City Manager to execute the Agreement; and

3. Approving the Specifications for the Project; and

4. Authorizing the City Manager and/or his or her designee to approve additional work, if necessary, for up to $43,947.75.

b) Determine that the Project Qualifies for a Categorical Exemption Pursuant to Section 15301 Class 1 of the State CEQA Guidelines.

FISCAL IMPLICATIONS:
Funds for the Citywide Concrete Repairs Cycle 2 Project are programmed in the Annual Citywide Concrete Repair Program within the Gas Tax Fund (formerly Streets & Highways Fund). Sufficient funds are available to complete the full bid's scope of work estimated at $439,475.25 and additional unforeseen work, if necessary, for up to $43,947.75. The total amount of this contract is not to exceed $483,423.
