On January 22, 2025, the Planning Commission considered the item described below:
Master Use Permit Amendment to allow for the sale and service of distilled spirits in addition to the existing beer and wine sales and service, in conjunction with food service at an existing eating and drinking establishment located at 1112 Manhattan Avenue (Hook & Plow)
On November 8, 2024, the City received an application requesting a Master Use Permit Amendment to allow for the sale and service of distilled spirits in addition to the existing beer and wine sales and service, in conjunction with food service at an existing eating and drinking establishment at 1112 Manhattan Avenue. On January 22, 2025, the Planning Commission held a duly noticed public hearing to consider the request. After receiving a report from City staff, and testimony from the applicant and members of the public, the Planning Commission voted 4-0, with one Commissioner absent, to approve the Master Use Permit Amendment as recommended by staff and found the project exempt from further environmental review pursuant to CEQA.
