RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that the City Council approve the attached list of appointments previously made for the Boards and Commissions.
BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION:
To comply with Section 54970 et seq. of the California Government Code, each legislative body is required to annually prepare a list of all regular and ongoing Boards and Commissions that are appointed by the City Council and make the list available to the public. This list is known as the Local Appointment List or the Maddy Act List. The list contains all appointive terms, the name of each incumbent, the date of appointment, the date the term expires, and the necessary qualifications for the appointment. Staff has reviewed and updated the attached list to reflect changes made throughout the 2025 calendar year. This list is posted at City Hall and on the City's website for the public to access.
Additionally, these are the upcoming vacancies for the annual Boards and Commissions appointment process in 2026.
