Recommended Action

RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends that the City Council receive and file this report recognizing those employees who have completed 15 or more years of service to the City.

FISCAL IMPLICATIONS:

There are no fiscal implications associated with the recommended actions.

 

BACKGROUND:

The City has a tradition of presenting commemorative certificates to long-term city employees at City Council meetings.  The following individuals were unable to join us this evening.

 

DISCUSSION:

Finance Department:
Henry Mitzner, is not able to attend tonight’s presentation, but the City wishes to recognize his 40 years of dedicate service.

 

John Anderson, is not able to attend tonight’s presentation, but the City wishes to recognize his 25 years of dedicated service.

 

Fire Department:

Louis Petroni, is not able to attend tonight’s presentation, but the City wishes to recognize his 25 years of dedicated service.

 

Derek Edmonds, is not able to attend tonight’s presentation, but the City wishes to recognize his 15 years of dedicated service.

 

Police Department:

Robert Cochran, Police Officer, is not able to attend tonight’s presentation, but the City wishes to recognize his 20 years of dedicated service.

 

Ronald Walker, Police Sergeant, is not able to attend tonight’s presentation, but the City wishes to recognize his 15 years of dedicated service.

 

Public Works Department

Guy Mescheder, Equipment Maintenance Supervisor, is not able to attend tonight’s presentation, but the City wishes to recognize his 30 years of dedicated service.

 

CONCLUSION:

Staff recommends that the City Council receive and file this report recognizing those employees who have completed 15 or more years of service to the City.
