On February 28, 2024, the Planning Commission considered the item described below, the application for which was received by the Community Development Department on May 16, 2023.
1. Consideration of a Use Permit Amendment to allow a new outdoor seating area, alteration of an existing drive-thru lane into a two-vehicle lane drive-thru (Y-lane), and modification of the parking lot configuration at an existing commercial building located at 815 N. Sepulveda Boulevard; and making an environmental determination for the project in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (Community Development Director Mirzakhanian).
The February 28, 2024, Planning Commission meeting was duly noticed on February 15, 2024. Staff received one public comment expressing opposition in advance of the hearing. Subsequent to publication of the agenda packet, two additional public comments were received opposing the project for early morning delivery truck noise, onsite vehicle congestion, trash, and restaurant related noise concerns.
