RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that the City Council authorize the Mayor to send a letter to the South Bay City Council of Government to clarify the Metro Board Policy and the funding of the “Complete Streets” Highway Projects with Measure R Funds.Body

There are no fiscal implications associated with this action.
BACKGROUND:
Attached is a sample letter sent by the City of Hermosa Beach, in which staff sought clarification of Metro Board policy.
CONCLUSION:
Staff recommends that the City Council authorize the Mayor to send a letter to the South Bay City Council of Government to clarify the Metro Board Policy and the funding of the “Complete Streets” Highway Projects with Measure R Funds.
